Caesar lands in Britain, defeats a few tribes and returns to Gaul.
54 BC
Caesar comes back with a bigger force, defeats a combined British tribal force under Cassivelaunus, then again returns to Gaul.
60 AD
Queen Boudica and her Iceni tribe, joined by the Trinovantes tribe, go on the rampage after Boudica is flogged and her two daughters raped by Roman soldiers. They go on to destroy Colchester (the then capital), London, and St.Albans before being defeated by the Romans.
122 AD - 139 AD
Hadrians wall built.
409 AD
Last Roman departed from Britain.
